Prayer:

Prayerfully read the Parable of Talents in (Matthew 25:14) with the following in mind:

The talents of this parable could represent any number of gifts that we have received and God is calling us to develop and increase for building up of God’s Kingdom.

In what ways does your life support the flourishing and increase of Creation? In what way does your life harm or degrade Creation? Are you accountable to God for this?

Take time to reflect on your household’s investments of time, energy and money. Do they reflect a desire to use the bounty and resources of creation in a way that produces a return in the future that is grounded in God’s justice?
